Bridal Veil Falls

This last Sabbath Cass and I went for drive in the afternoon with no purpose or destination except to go some where we have never been before. And this is what we came too. A beautiful little water fall out in the middle of no where. It was a relaxing environment of be in for the Sabbath. I hope you enjoy it a little, but its far better to be there in person then to just look at pictures. Sorry, pictures can't tell it all.

A Maori wood carving.

55 meter drop...

I like the texture of the rock.

We found a monkey tail. The monkeys here, when they get scared their tails fall off.

Cathedral Cove

This was a wonderful Sabbath in NZ. Cass and I spent the afternoon at the beach. We did some tide pooling and ate lunch and did some reading in STC. It was wonderful!
Cathedral Cove is a place that I have been dyeing to see, and finally were able to make it out there today, and it was so worth it. I think we will be visiting it again, and hopefully soon:)
Cathedral Cove

I like feet pictures.. I think I take after my sister :)

This is JC Beach (It was a private beach we found, so we decided to name it :)

Sunset..

Every day must come to an end. And this one ended on a good note. Cass and I took the afternoon off from our work because it was just too nice of a day to spend inside. So we went for a drive down the "Coromandel" (basically coast line in NZ). And it turned out to be a very beautiful drive. Here are a few moments we captured on our little adventure. The sunset was just amazing. We watched it as we drove and we had to stop and take a few pictures.

I found this mail box amusing just how it was out here in the middle of no where.

I feel in love with this tree.. it was just way too cool!

Apparently I have already been here before :)

This was my favourite picture of the day.

First Week in New Zealand

They tell me the weather gets bad here, but I haven't seen it yet. It has been almost like this every day since i got here. But any ways, these are a few photo's from my first week in New Zealand. Enjoy!

                                                                   First Sabbath in NZ.
This was a hike we took on Sabbath afternoon.

This was a boy Heather was baby sitting for the weekend.

These are shells the natives cooked and ate many years ago.
Thats the pile of them down in the bottom of the photo.
                                                          Lead from some old bullets.
Apparently your life will get really exciting if you touch this thing. :)

On Sunday I started to learn how to ride a "2 wheeler" (so they call them :) in the sand.

These are some friends from church, and believe it or not, they are twins.

This is Justin, ( Cassidy's brother)  and yes he makes it look easy.

One nice thing about sand... it doesn't hurt to bad if you get flicked off.

I try...
